Mrs. Deborah Metcalf began her teaching career as a Kindergarten teacher.  After a number of years teaching various elementary grades, she accepted the position of director at one of the most prestigious preschools in this area.  Following that position, she became the principal of the preschool through sixth grade school in Cerritos that would eventually merge with the school that existed at our campus to become Southland Christian Academy.  

Mrs. Metcalf is married to Pastor Don Metcalf, pastor of Desert Reign Assembly of God.  Pastor Don and Deborah have two daughters who also serve in Christian school ministry here at SCA.
